A new collaboration emerges!
PsyberVerse residents, we are excited to tell you about a new partnership we have recently been engaging into that we think will help us take Psyber-X and the broader PsyberVerse to the next level. Our vision is to use our games to expose as many people to the blockchain as possible which is why we view HIVE as our homebase; because it has the greatest decentralized community in the world. But as we have demonstrated with our Avalanche and Ethereum integrations, we are always looking for new ways to improve our product and expose more people to Psyber-X and HIVE.
Avalanche and Ethereum are great because they have smart contracts, but there is a newer general purpose blockchain on the scene that shares a deep history with HIVE and, in fact, a common origin story. That blockchain … is KOINOS. Let me tell you a story:
After Justin Sun acquired Steemit and instigated the events that led to the HIVE fork, the core developers of the Steem blockchain resigned from Steemit. Once they saw that HIVE was stable and in safe hands, they set out to build– not a HIVE competitor–but the next technology platform that would enable fee-less dApps like HIVE to scale to the next level while delivering even better user experiences.
They took the amazing RC system that creates such a delightful user experience on HIVE and placed it at the heart of a brand new, state-of-the-art general purpose blockchain; Koinos. With free accounts and WASM smart contracts, Koinos isn’t designed to be a social blockchain like HIVE, it’s designed to enable developers like us to quickly and easily add decentralized features to our game add the through smart contracts that can be written in TypeScript or C++ (with more languages to come).
Recently, we received a very interesting proposal from the CEO of Koinos Group, the estimable @andrarchy, who asked if we were interested in taking advantage of their blockchain (Koinos) to solve some really hard problems.
Of course, our #1 concern was whether an integration would add value to our current @psyberX roadmap and our existing users, especially Hivers. @andrarchy was happy to explain that Koinos is not a HIVE replacement, in fact, he believes it’s a far better fit for gaming. The more the @psyberx team spoke with @andrarchy, the more clear it became that a collaboration would benefit both projects. He told us that Koinos Group is extremely focused on supporting game developers like us, and that he believed an action-packed FPS game (Tournaments running NOW!) would add incredible value to the Koinos ecosystem. We, on the other hand, were happy to hear that they were willing to get their hands dirty and actually help with development.
Here’s what @andrarchy said, “We know how hard it is to work with blockchain technology and we’re here to make it infinitely easier. That’s why we built Koinos and that’s why we’re building products like Koinos Pro; to help developers like you take advantage of this technology we love. Understanding your challenges and helping you solve them will give us invaluable product feedback that will help us make our product better, faster.”
We believe that with the support of Koinos Group, and through the use of Koinos, we can actually increase the speed at which we execute on our roadmap without distracting us from our current priority (PsyberDecks). We think this collaboration will greatly benefit the whole @psyberx family inside the PsyberVerse, and we look forward to providing you with more updates as we progress!

Bronze
The Bronze pass is 1.5 avax to mint. It comes with a Legendary weapon. There are a limited number of these passes, but this is a guaranteed way to get a Legendary NFT. @bobthebuilder2 bought one just for the weapon.
Silver
The Silver pass is 0.05 Eth and comes with 10 Psybercrates (During the current sale: $50 value), 2 Legendary Weapons (value depends on market), and 1 Character (value depends on market).
Gold
The Gold pass is 0.3 Eth and comes with 100 Psybercrates (During the current sale: $500 value), 1 Character, 3 Weapons, and recognition as a Founder.
