THE CHAMPION AT BUNS TOURNAMENT (BATTLE TIPS) AND GIVEAWAY #66

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. It's been a while since the last time I am writing about my achievement in tournaments and today, I am going to share to all you the epic battle strategies when I won the "BunsBagsandCaps" tournament live in his stream. The tournament was held by @bunsbagsandcaps, a famous Splinterlands streamer. It was a single elimination tourney where players can only use Chaos set (Chaos Legion + reward + rift watcher) cards only. So it was a bit hard for me since I couldn't use my favorite summoners, Mylor and Lorna Shine, but I am still grateful to win the tournament.

This this the second final match with @nitroage. Well, Our line up were almost same, Taunt unit at the backline and Double melee strike for the tank monster. The difference is, Nitroage put supply runner who gave additional +1 speed to all friendly monsters and Demoralize who reduced 1 melee damage of the opponent monsters. These 2 are the key factors which change the game a lot and gave win to Nitroage as the Nitroage's Grund have higher damage (8) and faster speed (4) then he destroyed my army at first and second position first.

At Melee Mayhem, all melee monsters can attack from any position even in the back line, so using Possibilus is the great choice since whenever monsters killed their target, they can do another attack to the next monster. The trample ability will be even stronger if the ruleset is stampede since they can shot another attack when they killed their opponent. In the above match, I want to do some experiment with martyr ability since I was leading the score with 2-1 but unfortunately it didn't go well as I expected, ha ha. My summoner (General Sloan) has nothing to do with Melee Mayhem.

This is the semifinal match between I and @endlesshope. At the "Tis but scratches" ruleset, try to put many monsters in the battlefield since every attack will reduce the maximum point of enemies by -1 (Even of the attack is destroying the armor). I always forget about this, last time I only lose because I only put 1 monster (Djinn Chwala) but my opponents put 3 sneak monsters who could reduce the maximum health point of my monster pretty fast. In the above match, I like my opponent idea to put Torrent fiend as a sacrifice to give his sneaky monsters more turn to attack my monsters at the back line.

I didn't expect the opponent would set magic team in a pretty low mana at even stevens ruleset. So whenever we saw earth splinter on the battle, we have to be ready to face magic attack as earth splinter has obsidian. All my armor in the above battle are worthless since the opponent only attack using magic. He has 100% win rate and he deserves to win because my physical attack (both melee and ranged) has to break the opponents armour first. Good game, thanks for the match, @yasky.

I think the reason why I win this match is because I have stronger defense than my opponent. He set Tenyii Striker who have 1 armor and 7 health points as a tank. Usually, people put him in the backline position because he is a great sneak monster, while I have Forgotten One who have 5 armor and 10 health points, strong enough to hold the enemies attack for some rounds. Another reason is I put Grum at second position and it makes him activates his bloodlust ability faster than my opponent since he set Grum at the third position. Here is the final result of the tournament. The winner got 500 DEC plus a Chaos Legion pack. and the runner up, third place until fifth place got 150 DEC as rewards.
