Splinterlands seeks to sharpen skills by allowing us explore various strategies via rulesets. I have tried to study a few cards especially with the newly introduced rulesets, giving one more reasons to know what cards strongly suits them.

Before the start of any battle, each player is shown what ruleset is allowed in battle and it is extremely beneficial to read and strategize accordingly. The ruleset secret I will be sharing you to in this post is the *AIMLESS.

AIMLESS RULESET implies that all monsters on the battle field get the scattershot ability.

With this in mind,

Scattershot ability means that monster's attacks hit a random enemy target. Hence, players are advised to engage monsters with the Divine shield, Magic Reflect, Triage and double strike ability ^(a). Also, because it's a scattershot ruleset, you will need to have your defense up ^(b)

I do enjoy this ruleset for one important reason;

✅This ruleset aids even the most weakest of strategies, if you're not so sure of what monsters to pick, just go with your gut and hope that your monsters get to hit and weaken you enemies strongest faster.

I have a battle to demonstrate this claim and a possible lineup that works for mid-mana battle. Before I show you the battle, I'll introduce you to the monsters and why I picked them.

⚔️ *TEAM LINE-UP ⚔️

*🌬TYRUS PALADIUM

I employed the summoner of the Life element, the great **TYRUS PALADIUM. A 6-star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ summoner with the supernatural ability to grant +1 Defense* to all monsters willing to fight alongside him.

👉**WHY I PICKED TYRUS PALADIUM**

Also, because it's a scattershot ruleset, you will need to have your defense up ^(b)

*TYRUS PALADIUM offers team monsters an extra shield, which is well needed in an aimless ruleset.

*🌬 PELACOR CONJURER - 1ST POSITION

Players are advised to engage monsters with the Divine shield and Magic Reflect ability ^(a).

In front line comes PELACOR CONJURER, a highly creative and a powerful support with the amazing ability Magic reflect which does reduced damage back when hit by magic attack enemy. He can Fly over the enemies with non-flying abilities fiercely attacking them and using his divine shield he ignore first damage attack from enemy.

👉**WHY I PICKED PELACOR CONJURER**

I picked *PELACOR CONJURER because of his divine shield and magic reflect ability, and should my enemies come with magic attack, does damage back at them. Also, his divine shield should protect from random enemies scattershot.

In second line comes DIVINE HEALER with the Tank heal ability which will help restore the health of PELACOR CONJURER each round. She also has the Slow ability which reduced the speed of all enemies, allowing her team attack fiercely, causing damage before the enemy had the chance to react.

Next comes 🌬DAX PARAGON🌬 who does well to Amplify the magic reflect, thorns and return fire damage of her enemy monster by +1. He also causes great Affliction by making enemies wounds not heal on the battlefield.

👉**WHY I PICKED DAX PARAGON**

**DAX PARAGON affliction ability which will compliment Divine Healer's ability, giving an edge against the enemy, implying, while my monsters heal, the enemy can't once attacked by DAX PARAGON*.

TIME MAGE comes with the the Slow ability which reduces the speed of all enemies, allowing her team to attack fiercely, causing damage before the enemy has the chance to react. She is gentle, strict and an absolutely terror to her enemies, using her Rust ability to reduce armor of enemies, leaving them exposed to damage.

👉**WHY I PICKED TIME MAGE*

I picked *TIME MAGE because of her abilities will work against the enemies giving room for him to recharge and attack. This time manipulator does great Exploits by turning enemies strategy against them.

He has the Double strike ability which allows him attack twice each time he strikes. He also has the Flying ability to fly over enemies with non-flying ability and fiercely attack them.

• The Enemy came at me with the Fire element🔥, ENEMY SUMMONER - TARSA as Summoner. ENEMY-LIVING LAVA in first position, ENEMY-MAGMA TROLL in second position, ENEMY-SCORCHED FIEND in third position, ENEMY-FURIOUS CHICKEN in fourth position ENEMY-SERPENTINE SPY in fifth and finally ENEMY-ENCHANTED PIXIE in last position. Although my opponent came at me with great set of cards, so Let's see what happened.

• **TYRUS PALADIUM granted all my monsters the +1 Defense* before start of battle.

• TIME MAGE then Slowed all enemy monsters affecting their speed point and sametime Rusted their shields.

• *TIME MAGE deals a deadly blow to ENEMY-LIVING LAVA, directly affecting it's health.

• *PELACOR ARBALEST targets and double strikes at ENEMY-ENCHANTED PIXIE, killing her instantly.

• ENEMY-SERPENTINE SPY attacks TIME MAGE* affecting her health.

• Next comes *DAX PARAGON as he deals a magic blow to ENEMY-MAGMA TROLL. DIVINE HEALER waste no chance and attacks ENEMY-SCORCH FIEND.

• *PELACOR ARBALEST deals deadly attack and kills ENEMY-FURIOUS CHICKEN and next strike instantly killed ENEMY-MAGMA TROLL.

• DAX PARAGON and DIVINE HEALER take turns to attack and weaken ENEMY- SERPENTINE SPY. While TIME MAGE swoops, takes the honors and instantly kills it. 

• *PELACOR ARBALEST deals a deadly strike and kills ENEMY-SCORCH FIEND and next strike he deals at ENEMY-LIVING LAVA, removing it's defense. 

• *DAX PARAGON deals a deadly spell cast at ENEMY-LIVING LAVA and afflicts him.

• *DIVINE HEALER notices her weak team warrior and immediately heals PELACOR CONJURER, then turns to deal attack at ENEMY-LIVING LAVA.

• ENEMY-LIVING LAVA tries to attack PELACOR CONJURER but keeps missing the cause of CONJURER's* divine shield. 

• *PELACOR ARBALEST double strikes and finally DAX PARAGON takes the honors to finish off ENEMY-LIVING LAVA.
