Did "YGG" purchased Splinterland's Land? Splinterland's is ready to penetrate in ETH gaming community now.

Splinterland's recently made announcement about it's launch of Governance Token SPS on Binanace smart chain. Token launch is expected on July 2021 and it is not far away from now.

It is also announced that approx 13% of the supply will be airdropped to the players depending upon game assets (Cards, packs, Land ,totem etc.) , Amount of DEC (in game currency ) and SPT (blogging platform currency.)

After this announcement , almost 225K untamed packs are sold and more than 20K plots were sold out in just 2 week.

I was wondering about the such a large purchase and below post by aggroed caught my attention.

That post point out about "YGG" community taking interest in Splinterlands.

Who are YGG?

Yield Guild Gamer (YGG) is a community whose mission to gather gamers for "Play to Earn" . They started with famous game "Axie Infinity" but they are now not limited to the Axie infinity game. The believe in creating network of people who can work towards common productive goal.

They are in constant lookout for the games and keep investing on other games. They raised 1.325 million dollar funding in March 2021 for this purpose. They also lookout for the players that can "play to earn" and strengthen their network.

There current investment include in games like "League of Kingdom" , "Sandbox", "Illuvium". Recently they purchased a land $96,000 land in Guild of Gaurdians.

Overall they are interested in NFT gaming and Land system and may be ownings worth of million dollars of Digital land.

I did not rad about Slinterland's in their site yet but Aggy has hinted it and by going through the nature of investment YGG makes, Splinterland is ready to board in deal for them.

Splinterland's is also going for the next edition of cards in coming August as current version of cards are only available in Secondary market only and may we see them as partner then.

Anyway , YGG has thousands of player that might first time will experience in Hive Blockchain and in the end it will give promotion to Hive(that is much needed) and Splinterland's too and in the end it will be able to attract many players who are currently in ETH chain.
