Ready to Pursue Living a Full Life || My Purpose for Financial Freedom
Many of the motivated Hivers have one goal in common: Financial Independence. Or better yet Financial Freedom. This is a known fact, as many posts on here, are centered around that topic. I often write about my ambition to achieve that myself. Have I achieved it yet? Far from it. But I am well on my. Strolling along that level of having at least a 5 year backup for if I ever decide to skip out on my 9-5 and pursue more than that.
And that's exactly what inspired this post. I've been lately giving it a fair bit of thought of what to do next. Pushing about 4 years now at my current job, which fairly paid, compared to others around, I've been contemplating the idea of going on to the next challenge. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I will do it. This is in a way my first real taste of the first levels of financial freedom, as I am not worried about the upcoming years. This lack of worry is of course because I have saved ahead and have a bit of cashflow from Hive and other things I have invested time and funds into.
This enables me to start doing things I really want to do, which brings us to my real reason I'm pursuing financial freedom. The purpose is not to sit on my ass all day and do nothing. The purpose is to do what you want without financial worry. In essence that is when you truly start living a full life in my opinion. On the journey, you will master many skills, and meet many like-minded people that empower your resolve, living full lives alongside each other.
