The HIVE price is dropping! Everyone start panicking and abandon the blockchain. Which is exactly what you shouldn't do. But emotionally it is understandable that you might want to do something like that. The price of any asset will alter itself either positively or negatively when reacting to the bigger market. HIVE itself tends to not react as immediate as other altcoins but eventually it gets there. This does not mean that it's the end of Hive or that one should panic.

The opposite is true in fact. Whenever a token drops of a project that provides a valuable use case to the people that take part in the project, it usually means that there is a general reason that the drop is happening. If the project retains its value, this means that eventually the price will go up again.

This is obviously still the case with the Hive blockchain. The use case is quite clear and brings us guaranteed value, not just in earning potential, but in the awesome social experience the platform provides.

Knowing all of this, one should draw the natural conclusion that this drop is not as bad as we might think, as it is actually a pretty good buying opportunity. Have any extra fiat lying around? Consider buying some HIVE, bit by bit. Or if that seems too scary and you've been around here for a while, try converting most of your HBD earned to HIVE, and then just wait till the price goes up again. This is my game plan. Sitting on HIVE, selling high for more HBD, and transferring that amount to my HBD savings.

The crypto world has ups and downs, more than other financial areas. The best thing you can do is stay calm, think rational thoughts and react strategically. Over time the benefits of this approach will be evident.

What's your game plan for this HIVE dip?
