What Happens when Everyone Switches to Cryptocurrencies?

We belong to a select few of people who have embraced decentralization and digital currencies. The blockchain is our friend. But many are still in the dark. And because so little people use cryptocurrencies compared to the large amount of people using fiat, we see wild volatility in crypto markets. That's an oversimplified explanation, but hey I'm not an economist.

But what happens when everyone starts using cryptocurrency. Well, then volatility will decrease, or so it is theorized. Bitcoin will slowly shift from commodity to utility, being used as an everyday currency to buy food, pay your bills, travel, etc. The only difference being that there's not one designated middleman controlling and manipulating everything. This is what many see as an ideal outcome with decentralization and blockchain. Will it be so? Only time will tell.
