Arbitrum Airdrop Is Officially Confirmed : 23rd Of March

The long awaited arbitrum layer 2 of the ethereum blockchain is finally here and it made its announcement with a very cinematic entry. Arbitrum is a layer 2 protocol on the Ethereum blockchain that is supposed to help with scalability but just like other layer 2 protocols it is launching with its own token and is rewarding early adopters with its own token. I missed the optimism airdrop because I started my airdrop hunting really late. But arbitrum, I started interacting with it late 2022, unfortunately sybil attackers were really kicked hard. So if you used different wallets to but same IP address to interact with the arbitrum protocol you won’t get the airdrop.

The airdrop is going to be live on the 23rd of March which is one week from today, if you want to check your eligibility you can go to the Arbitrum Foundation and check your eligibility to know how much arbitrum tokens you have. The criteria for the airdrop is quite fair, because its not been unto 6 months since I started with the arbitrum blockchain, people that interacted with the blockchain 2 months, 6 months and 9 months were rewarded differently I have been interacting with the blockchain for more than 2 months but less than 6 months and 9 months and I got rewarded. You also get rewarded depending on how many contracts you have interacted with . If you have been showing up everyday, there is something for you depending how much you have you have showed up.

The arbitrum snapshot was taken on the 6th of February, which was really unexpected, surprised I got this much in arbitrum token when I started interacting with the blockchain in November/December. Well, I am glad I got my token and I was eligible for the airdrop just another of getting rewarded for showing up on the blockchain.
