Bored Ape Yacht Club Token: Aping On Some $Ape
Been a long time I have written a bored ape yacht club NFT post. Today seems like a great day to write one. I have been admiring the bored ape yacht club NFT from far because it’s very expensive. You won’t blame the NFT, it’s worth the price, the NFT is giving the vibe of being an NFT for the elites. Having a bored ape NFT is one of the coolest flex to have right now in the crypto community.
So we all know that having a bored ape NFT gives you a lot of perks, aside from having your NFT appreciate in value, there are other things that will make you want to get one. One is that you can proudly say that you are in the same elite club with celebrities like Eminem, DJ Khaled, Steph curry and other celebrities who owns a bored ape. Then, you can proudly say that getting airdrops is another cool reason to get some bored ape NFT.
Few months ago rumors of possible token and play to earn related to bored ape NFTs have been circulating God!!! I wished it was a reality because I wanted to be among the community so bad. An announcement was later made by the creators, Yuga labs with a teaser image. That got me excited and I couldn’t wait for when it becomes a reality.
Few hours ago it became official that the Bore Ape Yacht Club will be having a token called $Ape token. Typical, I either thought the name would be $Ape token or $Bored toke. Which ever they chose, I didn’t mind aping on the token. Turns out they chose the $Ape ticker, nice, so where do I sign? That was the first thing I thought of when I got the announcement. Man!! I really need to slow down with my obsession with Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT. At least if I can’t afford the NFT, I should be able to buy the token.
The token was not released until few hours later. Once again, Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT holders got at least 10,000 $Ape token when the token got available!!! Damn it!!! You see why I wanted to have a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT so bad? As a matter of fact, you see why a lot of people want to have a bored ape NFT so bad!! So don’t blame the value of these NFTs when they go up.
Talking about going up, the floor price of the bored ape NFT went up to 100 ETH and over after the announcement. Now more people want some Bored Ape. Remember they want an $Ape airdrop also. To be eligible for the airdrop you need to either have a Bored Ape NFT, A Mutant Ape NFT or a Bored Ape Kennel paired with Bored Ape or Mutant Ape.
Few hours after announcement, Binance tweeted it will be listing it soon. Expected, why not? Other exchanges like kucoin, FTX, Huobi and Bybit also talked about listing it. I wanted to get this token real bad so I decided to wait for Binance to list it. But then, Binance decided to list this token 2 hours after other exchanges.
I have only participated in a pump and dump only twice and I made cool money from that. So I decided, why not? Buy the token from an exchange that have listed it then dump it on Binance, then wait till everyone has dumped it then buy at the right price. I have done this before on Huobi and it worked. Why not it from Huobi, dump it when Binance list, that was the plan.
So I watched the price of the token get listed on Huobi st $1, as an amateur in the pump and dump world, I decided to buy at $1. I clicked buy but didn’t work, while clicking I watched the price climb to $30. Turns out it’s not possible to buy when it newly gets listed at that price. Decided to wait to see if it’s possible to buy when it gets lower. The price dipped to $20 and I felt that was the right price to buy some $ape. I bought and the order got executed, felt nice!! So I have an $APE token now, felt like having my own ape NFT. 😂.
