Nigerian High School Accepts Crypto payments neglecting country’s regulatory uncertainty

Just few months after the country banned financial institutions from involving theirselves with cryptocurrencies, this private high school decided to fully embrace cryptocurrencies.

This high school is located in Kano, Nigeria and goes by the name New Oxford Science Academy. The Staff in the school is urging the Nigerian government to embrace cryptocurrencies because he believes it’s the future. He made references to El Salvador and Tanzania. Stating that Nigeria should learn from El Salvador’s example of making bitcoin a legal tender and Tanzania’s Central bank working very hard to overturn the country’s ban on crypto.

Although the school’s director didn’t specifically say which particular crypto would be accepted. Sabi Haruna is one of the staff that started working in the school 2017. Haruna has a great vision towards crypto:
