If you are asked to give a benefit or a reason we need decentralisation, I think showing them Hive is the best way to reply. Based on Hive’s decentralisation, anyone can build anything on the blockchain. But with centralisation, you are limited to a certain rule, you have to take orders and play by the centralised leader or authority rule. The reason I started writing this post is just to appreciate Hive, there is no limitation to what you can do on Hive. There are varieties of options present and more to come that have not been built or created yet.
So I wanted to trade some HBD for some Hive, so I went to my usually Hive DEX wallet which is the Hive.blog wallet to trade some HBD into Hive, I tried but the transaction was taking too much time to execute so I had to look for an alternative. Usually when you want to use the wallet platform, you are going to have to choose a price that suits you on the list of buy orders or sell orders on the list. If you are converting HBD to Hive, this means that you are selling your HBD to buy Hive, so you have to choose a price in the sell order and buy Hive. But I was in an uncomfortable situation so I did it wrongly. Instead of clicking a sell order, I clicked a buy order and my order was stuck on pending for minutes, I got impatient and decided to look for another option.

I decided to use the ecency market, and I have to say this is the easiest Hive DEX wallet I have used, its so easy to use, nice UI, no stress and the transaction fee is free. All you have to do is go to your decency wallet, click on HBD, enter trade token, and you will be taken to the DEX section.

Put the HBD or Hive you want to trade and confirm with Hivesigner or Hive keychain and there you have it. Another option to use on Hive, is the DEX on @peakd, I haven’t used it before, but its nice to have another option. The name of this option is called HiveHubDev.
