$2.4 Million Sold For A Plot On Decentraland: Can You Afford The Digital World?

Ironic how the digital space is now costing more than physical properties. Virtual real estate is coming for the money as there will be a lot of money invested in NFT plots towards the metaverse investment. Recently we have seen lots of play to earn with metaverse features spike up in price and value, Decentraland was one of them.

Buying digital assets like plots on platforms like Decentraland, Sandbox or Splinterlands is still new, the amount of buyers found in this space is very limited because not everyone has grasped the idea of buying digital real estate, coupled with the fact that it’s very expensive. If plots are being sold this amount right now, I wonder how much they will be sold when the demand gets really high. I see it as a good investment right now but the price is huge.

There are lots of things one can do with their plots in the metaverse, they can build on it, or rent the land out. When they build on the land, they can use the building built on it to make passive income. Are you trying to imagine the money and the economy that will be invested on the metaverse. Lots of people are speculating that the metaverse will be on $10 Trillion Market cap and I personally feel this is so possible. The Metaverse is not going to be limited to one space, that is, for the fact that the metaverse will be available on SANDBOX does not mean it’s limited to just being on SANDBOX. You can also get access to Metaverse on Decentraland. People need to have varieties and options of different metaverse to choose from just as we have varieties of crypto coins to buy.

Currently we are seeing investors troop in Decentraland and Sanbox to buy the lands, my question is, after they have bought up these plots, are we(not the rich rich people) going to be able to afford to buy a plot when the metaverse goes mainstream? It’s not yet mainstream and a plot is selling for $2.4 Million. The other day a plot on splinterland was sold for $700,000. That’s really wild, these people buying these plots will surely want to make profit off their investment, so don’t expect them to sell it lower than they bought it. In let’s say like 5-10 years time how much do you think plots will cost?

Currently a plot is worth $700+ on splinterlands if you want to buy a plot. This is something am considering investing on because we don’t know what the future value of a plot will be when the full potential of splinterlands gets unlocked. Thinking about all these get me overwhelmed because the opportunities to be very wealthy on crypto are too much. I have all my funds invested in crypto and it still doesn’t feel enough, because I want all the money, am greedy.
