Buying Energy for the battles in Splinterlands
This week we have got the new energy system in the game. The earlier system was called ECR which means energy capture rate. This was slightly complicated for the new just understand however I was familiar with this. This is not the first time when the team has done some changes in the game and from time to time we get to know some upgrades that are better for the game and even better for the community. Continuous development and continuous improvement is the key to the project and I am glad the team is focused on it so they keep on doing whatever is required.
New energy system
This new energy system is easy to understand for new players and we can play approximately 25 battles in a day. This is a good number for daily battles I can say but sometimes we are in the mood and want to play more battles in the game and then it is not a problem anymore. Now we have the option to buy extra energy from the market and play more. This way we can earn better rewards as the prices are going to be different for different leagues in the game. A higher league will make the energy more expensive because at the higher levels, rewards are also higher and this is why it is needed to keep the balance.

I want to know if you have used this option to buy extra energy but I would like to mention here that I did not try it so far. If I will have the option to play more battles then I will check out too but as of now, my current schedule does not allow me to play more than normal battles. This is a good concept in my opinion and I am happy that people who are more into the game will be able to play more battles which is good for them and even good for the community because these tokens are going to be reduced from the supply.
Now since we have the option to buy extra energy from New Market so I will leave this is going to be good for the players who have more time to play and they can also fetch better rewards this way. I am not sure that I will be using this feature real soon however I am happy with whatever energy I am getting in my game account as per the standard process.
I have seen people talking about the ECR limitation and now they should be happy that the option to buy extra energy is available for them and they can try it but again there is also a limit as it cannot be unlimited. This is not a free game so anyone who is part of the game's highest pay some price and if this price is a concern then they might look for other options because Splinterlands is not going to change it.
Above is the snapshot and I still have more than 50% energy available for me. I am not playing aggressively and this is the reason why I don't need extra energy. I am currently in gold 3 and about to unlock gold 2 so I checked how much I need to pay if I buy extra energy. Since I have 30 energies with me already so I can buy a max of 20 at the moment and with 20 I can get 1000 DEC which is 1 USD in the round. I need to pay the same amount of tokens with credits or Dec-B as well so I find it a better deal if I want to play more battles in the game.
So far I like this option and certainly a good deal to go for because if I go with it then I can pay extra 20 battles. I am pretty sure that I would be able to earn more than 1 USD in these extra battles. It's not guaranteed but the probability is there and this is why I find it a better option to use. It's not mandatory but if someone wants to play more then go and buy extra energy and enjoy the gaming and extra reward too. [Images are taken from the splinterlands website]
