It's been almost 5 months since when I started renting my cards in the Splinterlands game. Playing a game is the best option to earn better rewards in the game. It is because we never know what rewards we are going to get in any season and sometimes we get a surprise reward that is worth much more than we expect. When I got some gold cards as a reward and the valley was more than $50 for the single card. When we go for the rental then that opportunity is not possible because we get the price based on the market demand and we cannot expect much more than this.

A rental market is a good option for those who have no time to play the game because playing every day required some time and it can be one hour approximately. With the rental option, we can generate a passive income through our cards, and sometimes it is very good if there is more demand in the market. And I have already mentioned that it's been almost 5 months for me and in this period I have been observing the dip in the demand in the rental market.

Earlier I was able to earn approximately 30k Dec tokens in one season which means in any case I was able to earn more than 50k DEC in a month. This is a very good amount and I was very happy with this kind of earnings. I use my rent learning to buy packs in the game because I reinvest whatever I earn through various ways and try to grow my account value as much as possible. Now, these days earnings have reduced and I earn approximately 9 to 10k DEC tokens in a season which means I am not earning more than 20k DEC in a month. Because of this drop in income, I am considering the option to start playing again but my current schedule is not allowing me to do this. It may take a couple of more months for me to make a move and then I will prefer to play by myself in the game instead of choosing the rental options if my rental income keeps on reducing like this.

I know that it is reduced but even with the current amount I am okay to continue with but if it drops further then I will have to think about my further strategy and gameplay in the game. I hope that I will be able to earn much more than this if I play the battles but again it is never guaranteed so it can be less and even more depending upon how I play and of course, some sort of luck is also involved.

I am also accumulating tokens on the game through which I can generate a passive income in form of SPS. SPS is the governance coin of the project and with these even now we can earn approximately 25% of apr. This is very good I would say because now when the price for SPS is low and this is why investing now is a good idea. I'm not worried about the current price because I know that the later price for SPS will grow once the market is inverter position and I am not in hurry for this.

I do not have any plan to sell my SPS holding soon because I am sure that they will be many more opportunities for SPS holders in the long run. I do not want to miss out on these opportunities just by selling my holding and booking the profit one time instead it will be great if I can keep on earning from time to time depending upon the opportunity provided by the game itself.
