Investing in RobiniaSwap DeFi

When it comes to investment I believe that we should keep it diversified and this strategy helps us to keep the risk minimized and even sometimes this brings a very good amount of return. We never know which project grows significantly. Be it crypto space or traditional market, there is always a risk involved and we can't predict anything 100%. I have seen projects doing amazing have gone down and even a few projects which were not expected to do well have done amazing. So the question is how can we make the most out of this as we have limited resources. I believe with diversification we can do this and that's why I keep on doing it even with a smaller amount.

I shared one post last week about RobiniaSwap where I invested a little amount earlier and I also shared my experience in that post. Now I have added some more value to my investment. The current price is low and I think that its the right time to bag more tokens and put them in the pool. The good thing about the pool is that there is no fee for deposit and I can do it by paying few cents in form of BNB only which is the transaction fee.

I used BUS to buy RBS tokens and then I staked all the tokens including the ones I harvested. There is no benefit if I keep the tokens idle but if I put them in the pool then it will start earning an APR and we need to be active on this part.

Here I am sharing the steps that I followed. I am not pro in this type of platform but I am trying to learn and with regular practice, I will be more familiar with this for sure-

  • Opened Exchange page where I can see RBS token and selected the coin I want to pay with. I selected BUSD that I hold in my metamask wallet. Its shows that I will get 40 RBS for 10.03 BUSD.

  • In this page its asking for confirmation if the information is in order and in case of any change we can still do it here.

  • Now I need to confirm the transaction through the metamask wallet.

  • Swap transaction is in the process now and it takes few seconds to get it done. This transaction is submitted to the BSC network and requires few seconds to confirm.

  • Now the transaction is successful I got the RBS token in my wallet. I can check the transaction on BSCscan and even there is an option to check the recent transaction performed by my wallet.

Now since I have got the RBS balance in my wallet so I am now harvesting my RBS balance as well so that I can stake it all together again. Its like reinvesting the token and it will help me earn more RBS tokens.

I have 49.17 RBS in my wallet now and going to park this balance in the pool.

  • Clicked on + button

  • Clicked on max and it has taken the entire available balance.

  • Now I need to click on confirm and very the transaction.

  • Before this increased stake I had 17.78 RBS tokens in the pool and now I have got 66.86 RBS parked in the pool and the last snapshot is showing the same.

RBS pool is offering an APR of 211.07% which is amazing and since it comes with No fee which is another plus. if this apr stays stable at this rate then I would be able to earn a good amount of RBS tokens and that's how this pool thing works in DeFi.

As I already mentioned that I am not a pro-investor in DeFi but I am trying to learn more and during my study, I got to know a term known as "Impermanent Loss" and as of now I am not much aware of it. Now this is in my list and I will try to spend some time soon and I don't want to study this in a hurry so that I get a better understanding of the concept. I always say that every day is learning for me in crypto and I thoroughly enjoy this great learning.
