KPMG Entered in Crypto
For those who don't know about KPMG, I would to mention that its one of the big four accounting companies. They have invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum and this is great news because it shows that accounting companies are also interested in crypto. I know more about KMPG because a few of my neighbours and even one friend is working in this company.
Its a good company in terms of salary pay-out as they pay nice compensation to the employees and the company is also in the growing phase. Today while going through the news updates, I got to know about this and then I called my friend to tell her about this. My friend is still away from crypto and is currently in partial interested mode. I can't say that when she will join but seems like with this she will get a solid reason to be a part of the crypto space.
KPMG is a well-known multinational company in India and even in India, they have a presence in many states and cities which shows that they are one of the leading brands and employers in the segment. If they have decided to make crypto part of their balance sheet that means crypto is a serious game for them. Since the company itself is a leader in audit so its obvious that they have gone through all the aspects before putting money into this.
We've invested in a strong crypto assets practice, and we will continue to enhance and build on our capabilities across decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and the metaverse, to name a few. We expect to see a lot of growth in these areas in the years to come," stated Kareem Sadek, co-leader of KPMG's Cryptoassets and Blockchain Services division.
This is not just a piece of news but it can also play an important role to help many people and even institutions.
- Since KPMG is a brand and one of the big four that handles the audit and accounts for leading companies across the world so this action also encourages many institutions to invest in crypto. Maybe the case that many companies are exploring the crypto as one of the investment options but because of its volatile nature etc, they are yet to finalize but now since KPMG has invested so it can work as a trust booster for them to put their money on crypto.
- It can also result to bring many of KMPG employees globally and even their relatives to be part of crypto because there must be many who follow KPMG and believe on what they do.
I consider it as a good move for the crypto community and expect that many other big institutions will join crypto and this will contribute as an increase in market cap and spike in the prices. Lets see how this turn out to be in future for us and what value it can add to the crypto ecosystem,
