I am not really a big fan of Airdrops! One of the main reason is, I am not really that much lucky, when it comes to airdrops. Bad luck of mine! Or else who does not likes free money ;)

Lately, there are series of events which have been taking place. Especially about "Airdrops". Somehow, I began to caught up in the middle of all this. Like they say, Every Dog has its day! Assuming everything went into the way I want, I got some nice and decent airdrops for the last few weeks. Which is why I am getting kind of optimistic about these airdrops. In the past, my experience about these so called airdrops were off the limits. Infact, I seemed to avoid them as much as possible. As for a simple example, there would 100 airdrop spots, and participants would be more than 10k. Call it luck or more like no chance at all!

Few Airdrops received, in the last few weeks
  • Rope
  • GTC
  • Sato

The very first one (Rope), I got it by performing few tasks. AKA joining discord server, minting an address, opening an account, putting some Dollars worth of tokens into another network. All together 10 mins worth of task and few dollars invested. While at the end, I received an airdrop worth of around $150. Not bad for a small amount of task. This was also luck as because there were other coins which were doing the same thing but they were delivering, what they promised for the tasks. So, it was more like, you have nothing to do than just try out these lucks.

GTC! Well, this was more of a surprise. I received approximately $700 worth of this token. Crazy at some point right. Honestly, I was not even aware of these tokens. Let alone claim them in my wallet. This airdrop was received due to a donation made from me to a project. Since it was on ETH blockchain, I had to cover the gas fees and the sell offs were also a pain but I suppose all of them were indeed worth it. I sold majority of my portion and the rest I will hold them and probably forget about them for a long time. Since the ATH was high enough and who knows if it gets to see that peak again, I might get some free money as well. Fingers crossed.

Sato, was also the same kind of airdrop. Donation type. Although it was not really worth that much but I can not complain as they are all free money. It was around $60. But still I do not have it in my hands yet. So there it is.

Similar to these airdrops Splinterlands is also going to airdrop its native tokens SPS to different SP holding assets accounts. Do go through these post. If you are lucky enough, you might get some free money and who knows they could be valuable like the way other assets of Splinterlands is.

But overall, what I am stating is, there are chances of getting some free money. It is just how much dedicated one is to get a hold of them. One of my HIVE friend @udezee is the king of these airdrops and he is probably the one who encouraged me to get into these airdrops and luckily some of them were a hit and I am glad that I listened to him ;) Although, I can nowhere go near his dedication, of filling those forms and get some yummy airdrops.
