As Inheritance? Crypto or physical assets...

Just the other day, I was asking myself a random question. But before I say that, I was thinking about my father. How he has left me with quite a few options in my life. I am very much grateful for what he has done for myself. It is for him, who I am today!

The big question which was lurking through my mind was, " What am I going to leave for my kids and their generations?".

It is no doubt, crypto will take much more time to be mainstream. The acceptance of it, will need much more time than we can anticipate. To be more precise, we can count our self as those people who are witnessing the change in world economy. Like in the ancient times where goods were used to make trades, later gold became another vital way of trading goods, thereafter coins were invented and used, thus paper money followed the trend and as of now we are running towards a cashless society. No doubt, a cashless society will happen sooner than later.

I am not aware of how the future generation will evolve! How they will take this whole way of adopting technology in their everyday life. But what I can say is, I have seen plenty of kids nowadays, who will not survive without technology. I mean, adopting technology has become more of a necessity to us than a passion. But these kids nowadays they prefer technology over real life experience. If you have a kid in your family, than you should know what I am talking about. You can literally make a kid sit in a place with an IPAD/phone in his hand for as long as the charge on the ipad/phone has. This technology has become a part of their life. They do not like playing outside, they do not socialize, they are gaining weight literally becoming dependent on technology. I have no idea what should I say about it, "A blessing" or a "curse". As the effect of this technology will be seen in real life when they grow up. Their social skill, physical fitness, their thoughts everything will have limited thoughts and only based within a world which has no real impact in their real life. I guess only TIME will say what will happen.

Although the way they are becoming dependent on technology is probably one of the best reason why crypto will get a chance of adoption in mass. I do believe, in future "Crypto" will not be as fancy a word as it is now.

  • Crypto as inheritance

I am honestly thinking of giving crypto as a gift to my future generation to come. Yes, I am quite serious about it. I even laid out some plans to do so. If Allah allows me to have kid/s I will distribute them depending on their quality and how well they will be able to justify and adopt the wealth which I will develop over the time.

I definitely will not give them anything. Yeah, you heard it right! They are going to earn it from me. Show me, if you are worthy than you shall posses the power of my cryptos!

Physical assets are also a necessity in our life. If I only say, I want crypto and physical assets are not a necessity, I would sound like a mad man. What I have seen is, real estate is also one of the fastest way to make money in our life. Not only that all the traditional business that we have seen our ancestors doing it are indeed a beautiful way of living a lavish life.

Another reason for choosing crypto is its Volatility. Who knows if I leave a crypto worth of $10k at present, it might turn out to be $20k or even more after 30-40 years. Whereas some physical assets may loose its value due to inflation as well lol. So everything is intertwined and only time can say what will happen.

But yeah, time changes everything. If I get the chance to build physical assets in the next couple of years, I would definitely keep that option at hand as well. I would let my kids choose which of the assets do they really want and what are they going to do with them. Depending on their answers, they shall get what they deserve. And since this post is going to be here forever, it shall be a reminder for myself for a long time. Although there are lots of ifs and but's lying in these questions.

I am still thinking how time changes, so fast! Just few years back, I was chilling and I had no idea how things are going to work out. Life was full or entertainment, the word worries was just a word in my dictionary, until life slapped and taught me what it actually is. I suppose every struggle in our life teaches us for what we are.

I am aware, I am thinking way ahead of time. This is what happens when you do not have a real time job lol. Unnecessary thoughts seem to cloud your mind and lucky we are, we have a full-fledged blogging portal to lay our thoughts into fruition. Have you ever given any thoughts about your future generations ?
