  1. Microsoft makes its open-source secure voting software available to all - Microsoft has open sourced it's ElectionGuard software, and says it can be used by any tech supplier who is seeking "a more trustworthy voting system.". To date, demos have made use of Microsoft hardware, like a surface tablet or Xbox controller, but Microsoft says it will be used by major manufacturers of voting systems, including: "Clear Ballot, Democracy Live and VotingWorks". Pilot programs are expected to have some voters using the software in the 2020 election cycles.

  2. Tennessee Woman Rescues a Kitten That Turns Out to Be a Bobcat - The "bobkitten" was taken to For Fox Sake Wildlife Rescue and named, Arwen. When she's healthy enough, she'll be returned to the wild. Bob cats cannot be domesticated, so if she can't be released to the wild for some reason, Arwen will go to a zoo or nature center. Cute bobkitten photo, here. This sort of mix-up has happened before.

  4. At 40 he had a job he hated, now he’s worth half a billion dollars - In 2003, Charles Rolls spent his life saving buying Plymouth Gin, and sold it four years later for $62 million. That was just the beginning, though. His main insight was to anticipate the coming trend in flavored drinks, and make the observation that no matter how good your gin is, if it's diluted with mediocre tonics, it will taste mediocre. So he ventured into the flavored tonic water line, and created the highly successful firm, FeverTree. The company has a presence in 74 countries, and sold 406 million bottles of its drinks last year. Now he has stepped back from day to day operations, but attained a net worth around $500 million.

  5. STEEM How to develop an income for Venezuelan people using the internet - In this post, @achim03 discusses ways for a person to develop additional online income streams in order to compensate for the falling price of steem. The article suggests free resources that could be used by the entrepreneur including a web site that can be used to create online training courses, free e-mail list software, free software for creating and recording presentations. The post also describes a method for building and using an automated sales funnel. (A 10% beneficiary setting has been applied to this post for @achim03)
