Now is the time to content create. Now is the time to curate like you never curated before. Now is the time to accumulate. Now is the time to add to your bags. Now is the time... well you get the idea. I been on the HIVE platform since its conception. I have also been on other platforms that utilize similar WEB 3.0 designs and the common theme is once the native coins (in HIVE's case HBD and the HIVE Token) dip to a certain Fiat Value the users of the platform create and curate less and sometimes not at all. Sure visually it sucks seeing ones content showing less USD worth then it would have some months back. However I'm here to let you know that you are focusing on the wrong number (The Displayed Fiat Number). We aren't here to collect FIAT. We are here to collect HIVE. In most cases when the aforementioned takes place its very likely that the HIVE amount has stayed the same or in allot of cases has likely risen for your created content. The reasons for this is because there is less people creating content due to the HIVE price being on the downtrend (Don't be one of these people; Keep creating and curating).

(1) Less people blogging on the Hive Blockchain means its easier to get your content noticed by those who currently frequent the HIVE Blockchain. (2) The second reason why most will see an uptick in HIVE earnings when the Fiat Value of HIVE is dipping is because those who hold a whale share of HIVE usually adjust their Vote to the Fiat Value they want to vote a post with. For example (made up numbers incoming) if there is a whale who likes to give $1.00 USD upvotes and the price of HIVE is $0.50 USD that would mean your post has grossed two HIVE in earnings from that upvote. If the price of HIVE was double ($1.00 USD) that would mean that same $1.00 USD upvote from that same whale would gross your post One HIVE token. If you are new to WEB 3.0. If you are new to the blogging aspect of the HIVE blockchain. If you have a low stack of HIVE, this dip is nothing but an opportunity to gain yourself some bags. Read that again, If you are new to the blogging aspect of the HIVE blockchain. If you have a low stack of HIVE, this dip is nothing but an opportunity to gain yourself some bags. Now get out there and start creating and curating. Your HIVE bags aren't going to fill themselves.

What Is HIVE?

Hive (HIVE) is a blockchain running on a delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism. It launched in March 2020 as a hard fork of the centralized Steem blockchain and as a gateway from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0. The blockchain claims to offer “lightning-fast processing times and fee-less transactions.” Examples of use cases include social media with monetized rewards for content creators, interactive blockchain games, identity management, micro-loans and more. The platform powers decentralized applications (dApps) like Splinterlands, PeakD and HiveBlog.

Hive is a social network of apps and services, where users discover the capacity of blockchain technology, connect to the platform and securely share content through equitable redistribution of value. Thus, the users are the proprietors of the network, and sponsors can contact communities and artists directly without intermediaries.

Hive is an open source blockchain that focuses on scaling through layer-2 sidechains, while still benefiting from a common layer-1 blockchain backbone to ensure distributed data integrity. The Hive ecosystem runs on two cryptocurrencies — the native governance token, HIVE and the USD-pegged HBD stablecoin.
