HIVE Has Broken Out Again + LEO Trading At A Premium
Violence like this is typical when HIVE enters a bull market. Because it's only February, I don't think we've seen anything, yet.
One thing to be weary of is recent price bias. I've seen people talk about how HIVE will go to $1 by the end of the year.
I find that assessment way to pessimistic. The liquidity on HIVE is quite small owing to HIVE being a small market cap coin. When serious speculative mania hits, which has a good chance of happening owing to all the development going in the ecosystem, we are likely to see much higher spikes than mere $1. When BTC goes north of $200,000 and ETH goes above $5000 their market cap will be so high that if a small fraction of that money finds it way to HIVE, the price will go beyond most people's expectations.
Similarly, in the first half of 2018, I heard people talk about how STEEM will scarcely go below $2 again. How wrong those people were.
Extreme volatility is in the DNA of Steem, Hive and all the forks.
