If you look at the price action between the 2013/2014 bull market top and the 2017 bull market top, then you can see how smooth it was in comparison to that between the 2017 top and now. The Christmas 2018 and early 2019 bottom was well below the value predicted by the stock-to-flow model of Bitcoin and the summer of 2019 was very frothy. Then there was the March 2020 crash and the rather cautious start of the bull market after that. Fueled by Musk and other corporate leaders getting involved, the market developed quite a bit of froth until the capitulation we're in the middle of now.

Watch for a new accumulation period

When this capitulation which is shaping up to a larger one than usual is over, it is time to look for signs of smart money re-accumulating. This is what I'm going to pay close attention to.
