Every time I use ETH I cringe.

I picked up some RFOX a while back on the advice of @felander, and I just learnt yesterday that it's possible to stake it on their new DEFI platform for a return.

This beats having it just sitting in my MetaMask wallet - but a problem: I bought said RFOX on ETH and having sold half of it during a little pump a while back (which I must say I timed pretty nicely thanking you!) I only had a few hundred squids worth left.

And given the ETH fees, well, you know what that means: it's VERY unlikely it's going to be worth moving around anything that's worth less than $1000.

HOWEVER, I figured that it was worth sucking up the extortionate fees on this dysfunctional network to get some more funds out of there and get my RFOX working for me, rather than just sitting there.

In reality it wasn't too bad (for ETH) - but to start I had to move some ETH from another wallet to facilitate the transfer of RFOX (that cost me $6 in gas) and then the move from MetaMask to Bittrex cost me a further $16 - and for ETH, that's not too bad....

NB The Rfox staking is on BSC, but rather than mess around with ETH-BSC cross chain swaps (the one recommended by RFOX didn't seem to be offering me the option I wanted anyway) I just decided to go via exchanges - I'll sell the FROX for probably LTC and then use that to get my RFOX to BSC by going round the houses.

You know what this means of course - ETH, IMO is so dysfunctional I'd rather use CEXs.

And another thing is i find using ETH so stressful that now my ROFX is out I'll deal with selling it and buying it back on BSC another time!

Comparing this to BSC where I get a standard $0.50 tx or Polygon where it's so cheap I can just play around at my whim, ETH is a challenging one to use, to say the least!
