It's been ages since my last income review, so this is well overdue, and i think I'm going OK!

Now I'm living in Portugal I have a very low cost of living, as long as I don't travel back to the UK every year, which could easily set me back an extra £1000-£2000 the way things are going with the Pandemic.

My total monthly income comes out at around £2100, which is not outstanding, but OK, enough to get by on.

Here's my income breakdown from the last 30 days:

ReviseSociology.com resource sales

These have been nice and steady, and hopefully that will continue and I'll see my usual spike next May-June because the A-level exams will finally be on again, having been cancelled for the last two years!

Revise ads

These have been inching up in recent months which is good to see, I actually now pay a company in India to do SEO work for me which seems to be helping.

Chatbot

My income here has also been growing, which is surprising, I guess there's money in getting 'academic assistance' for writing essays!

Rental Income

From my house back in the UK - 15 months now of reliable income, that figure is after management costs and I don't think I need to spend anything for several years to keep on top of things!

Actually I guess I should take insurance costs off TBH! So this is just a tiny tad less than reported!!!

Marking

Not a lot to say, it's a small but stable income! Certainly my worst return in terms of hours put in, but it keeps me grounded and it's all money!

Final thoughts - I is going OK....

I really need to spend some time over the next few months updating my blog and teaching resources, I've been a bit slack with this and things are starting to look a little bit out of date....

I need to pull my fingers out and get typing and updating with some ferocity in 2022.

Hopefully one more round of serous updates will 'do me' until I've got the mortgage paid off and I can properly chillax!
