A 2790 SPUD POWER UP, 30K MILESTONE, and a celebration of the new age of crypto-Keynesianism?

It's been a bit of a a rollercoaster on Steem this month... When I heard about the Justin Sun takeover I powered down for the first time ever.

However, what's made me happy about powering back up PLUS MORE STEEM THAT I'VE BOUGHT is the fact that Witnesses have stood up to Capital.

The fact that consensus from the upper-middle can freeze the assets of the very wealthy is very encouraging.

I've never been a fan of lucky crypto millionaires being able to do WTF they like with their cash, and on Steem it turns out they can't!

I see the soft fork as closer to crypto-Keynesianism rather than crypto-neoliberalism, and if the real world versions are anything to go by we should have a period of more growth-stability and better wealth distribution coming up, rather than more instability and increasing inequality.

Ironically the insecurity of the Steem price recently has meant I've had lots of fun on the exchanges buying, then selling, then buying Steem - I've done quite well out of those lows and highs.

What I'm hoping for now is some kind of consensus that includes Sun, ideally with some of that 70M stake being nullified, and then mass on boarding.

30 K milesone

Well I got to 30K Vested SP at last, and if you're unimaginative enough to think base 10 is the basis of a celebration, that means something.

Other Steem stuff

I sort of get communities although I still prefer to post to my blog. I can see in future it being useful for discovering more people via their posts, but I guess they need SMTs to realise their full functionality.

I've been getting more into my @splinterlands recently, never saw that coming, but that's how it is! I'm stacking DEC for the exciting future updates - potions/ crafting/ land etc.

Got another 60 odd steem from @dachcolony, so the @nextcolony investment is paying out nicely!

For some reason I've been buying the odd 100 or so leo, I just have this feeling the @steemleo community is going to do well. Just a feeling. I really should write more about investing, it is a topic which interests me!
