The recent news about the Man Child Justin Sun stepping down from Tron to become Grenada's 'crypto' ambassador to the World Trade Organisation was surprising to say the least, but a few days on it seems that there's no news about it being fake news (his head does look unusually large in one particular photo I've seen) so I guess it's actually happening.

Sun's role with the WTO is more regional rather than just being limited to Grenada. In case you don't know, that's kind of how it works at the World Trade Organisation - All the rich countries get 10 representatives and all the poor REGIONS get 1, or something along those lines.

So why has Justin Sun made this move....?

Justin Sun has proved himself historically to be a detestable individual - the Steem takeover showed us that his moral compass is firmly directed at boosting his own personal wealth and power, and I can't imagine anything has changed in the three years since since he's teaming up with a government that resides over a Tax Haven and which ranks in the top half of countries for lack of transpareny according to Global Corruption Index

My best guess is that as he perceives it, there probably isn't that much money to be made by heading up one global crypto foundation with one major crypto and a few others dragging behind (like Steem) - possibly regulatory pressures in China (which I imagine he's especially sensitive to) and the rest of the world just create too much uncertainty going forwards.

So stepping down as the head of one corporation and taking on an advisory and advocacy role in a region of the world where many countries are enthusiastically adopting crypto, but the rules of engagement are still being written makes absolute sense.

I mean think about it - just over the water you have El Salvador, and Venezuela, and Brazil is number 14 on the Global Crypto Adoption Index, and so the region is poised for increasing crypto adoption, especially when this is the region which has suffered the most historic harm from the dollar debt for development global economy.

And we all know that Sun likes to Smoosh - whether it's buying lunch with Warren Buffet or tricking CZ into using Binance customers funds to take over Steem - he's clearly a lover of networking, so I imagine he sees this role as something that he can leverage to develop laws which are crypto-friendly.

He's probably imagining himself in a couple of years time as the man everyone in crypto wants to know as he's got the connections to the officials in Latin America who are writing the new crypto regulation rules.

Of course this might not work out well for justin Sun, it's quite possible that government leaders and WTO representatives would just as soon fuck him rather than work with him.
