The BXT liquidity pools which @gerber set up a month ago have finally reached their 'long-term' rewards basis - at 100 BXT per day, so we can now assess their potential for a holding-vest.

The first few weeks saw some very generous rewards as the emissions per day came down from an initial 500 to now 100 a day, split across the following pools:

You can read the initial post on the pools and the rates here.

What are the APRs now like in each pool?

The current rewards now range from just over 80% on the SWAP.HIVE: BXT pool (no surprise this is the most richly rewarded down through around 45%, which SWAP.HIVE: MATIC and SWAP.HIVE: BUSD offering around 60%, and some others such as SWAP.HIVE: BNB are sitting around 45%.

SWAP.HIVE: LEO is at 27% and and SWAP.HBD: SWAP.BUSD just under 20%

You can check the BXT reward APRs on BeeSwap

You can also earn a 55% APR for staking BXT, paid out daily in Hive!

My own Pool Positions and Plans

I personally put in around $10K into these pools for the last few months - my main stake was the pure stable pool, which I saw as a good place to park some stables which are eventually going to go on Chaos legion packs - $4Ks worth, or 1000 packs!

I'm leaving this in for now, but in mid-Jan, that is my CHAOS fund.

I also put some into the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.BNB pool and more recently I've piled into the SWAP.HIVE: LEO pool, but because the returns on these have dropped, I will probably extract most of that and pile it into the bleo-BNB pool on Cub.

I also pulled out some funds from the SWAP.HIVE:BXT pool and staked the BXT part just as pure BXT. Assuming the BXT price follows the pattern of all other 'DEFI' tokens it's now going to come down in price, so I figure I'm better off staking it, I also sold a fair amount.

I will give it a few weeks and look to pick up some more BXT around the same time I buy CHAOS packs, and probably go harder into that BXT-SWAP.HIVE pool.

BXT was a good buy a month ago....

Overall I'm very happy with my returns on BXT and these pools - I bought around 20 in total when it was quite cheap, and sold or swapped more than that over the last month for at least the same Hive-Price I bought at, and managed to more than double my BXT stake from my H-E rewards and earn around 30 Hive in staking.

It's been a good month, and looking forwards it seems, based on the current returns, that BXT is going to be another nice side-income stream.

I think what I'll do for the next month is stake half my rewards and sell half, keep and eye on the price and buy more probably at some point.

I also think I'll keep on using the stable pool - it's a nice place to park one's stables with no hassle if yer in the mood for farming off a little Hive/ Leo/ DEC or SPS!

We shall see!
