Not giving up on Hive! ORCA for HPUD November 2020

I just took advantage of the low low, bargain basement Hive Prices, Powered some up and I am now an Orca!

Although admittedly I am the lowest HPd Orca with 52 200 HP, but everyone has to start somewhere!

I can still do more on this chain than any other I know, and despite the minor fuck ups with the latest HF, the long term downward trend in the price and the disappearance of many many active users, that's all relatively short term.

I still think there's huge potential for long term growth, it's still very early days for Hive don't forget and we're still sorting the basics out!

I think most investment in crypto ATM, a huge proportion is speculative and for quick gains, rather than for use-cases - it's speculation that's driven Hive's price up, and then back down again because there's more of a quick return to be made elsewhere, but I think Hive has real use-value, and there's simply not enough people interesting in using blockchain ATM for anything other than making a quick return.

Hive is more of a gradual gradual thing for me, not a way to make a quick buck, so I'll just keep on powering up and see where we are a month, a year, 10 years from now.

And as many people have said I think the Dapps are the future - hence why I've been going pretty hard on Leo recently, I'm a Whale here/ there, with the equivalent of over 2Million Hive staked if you look at my stake proportionate to the total token supply.

But for today I'm quite happy with this Hive milestone!

I wonder whether I'll appear in today's Hive equality stats that @arcange produces everyday, I'm not sure when the post reads from the chain, I guess there's quite a delay as a lot of data is included and it all takes time to crunch into a post so I possibly won't be counted in the Orca category until tomorrow!
