I'm currently sitting at the top of the @cryptobrewmaster leaderboard.

With 1775 CBM tokens

That's currently worth about 85 Hive, and I'm 99% certain I haven't transferred anything in or out, so that's all in game earnings, all for just brewing virtual beer, which only takes a few clicks a day....

If you play the game, you know the routine... head to the pub to read the bulletin board and do yer daily quests, fill up yer rucksack with ingredients, head over to the brewery to brew your beer, wait several hours, sell the beer at the pub. Buy some beer if you run out of energy for tasks.

If you haven't played, you can use my referral link, and here's a nice tutorial post by @apprentice001 to get you started.

It's early days yet, but development is happening and there is a real world connection with @rollie1212's real world beer brew which took place in The Ukraine over the last couples of months. A bunch of us invested in CBM tokens for the brew, the beer got made and sold and we had the option for a token buy back at 20%, most us decided to hold our CBM.

So lots of potential for growth, it's real, and it's so much more chill than @splinterlands!

I've been buying a small loot box with ingredients once a week, at the cost of 1 HBD once a week for the past several weeks to support the game. The loot boxes are only that cheap once a week, on Sundays, after which they go back up to 4.99 HBD, which is just too rich for me.

However, I did make one purchase at that higher price very early on, just to see what happened, and show some support for the game - the price increased to 9.99 HBD.

All in all I've probably invested about 40 Hive in the game if I discount my 'expensive loot box purchase experiment', so it's all good!

I've also had a few gifts for taking part in promotions. Although I'm not really sure what to do with my 'excellent' two row barley malt, seems a shame to chuck it into the brewer with all the other inferior ingredients, guess I'll cling onto it!

Pro Hint: do the math on the in-game purchases, it's easy enough to figure out what's worth buying and what isn't.

If you're not playing and want to join in, I'd appreciate it if you could use my referral link.

Playing is a great investment in Hive, and it might help keep me on top of that Leaderboard, although I'll expect I'll slip down, much like the effects of beer (and thankfully hangovers) nothing lasts forever!

And then there's that odd thing about Hive initiatives - if I'm slipping down the leaderboard because more people are investing, well I'm actually still winning aren't I!
