For some time now a few of the guys at our guilds discord server have been developing and running raffles where dec and splinterland cards can be won. The raffles have recently seen an increase in popularity and many have been enjoying them a lot, while also hanging out with the rest of the guild and participants in the tavern channel.

However today will be a tad bit different from your usual raffles. At the moment, one of our members at futureDECbagholders is going through a rough time. A river near his place started eroding the land and to prevent further damage a dike will need to be built. Unfortunately, this meant his house had to be demolished and he’s currently living in their store as a temporary alternative. Although he’s safe now, this situation is far from ideal. He was looking to quickly dump some cards as he needs money to support his family and get his life back on track.

This is where the guild jumped in and came up with the idea for a support raffle where we put his cards up for a raffle instead, all the proceeds will go to @nnniel to help him out in these tough times. While that is great we thought we could do better, we decided to go the extra mile here: all the profits of today's raffles (including currently running) will be matched and added as a donation, in other words the profits x2 will be donated.

So, while you have a chance to score a great card at a discount as usual, today you’ll also be helping a brother out greatly and to us that’s probably even more satisfying than winning any card (except for a gold foil Llama maybe ;-)). Show some love!

If for whatever reason you'd rather just donate directly you can use his IGN which is the same as the tag above @nnniel, I'm sure any cards, dec, hive whatever you can spare and would like to donate is more than welcome right now. Even just spreading the word could help a lot.

Thanks for anyone showing support in whatever way they can and I hope we can help out a little to get him back on his feet.
