not really, for example the last transaction I did I paid like 0.012 that is 0.5 $ (yeah maybe a little more if you compare with bsc but quite similar), anyway I think is a small fee to pay by using its network that for me it's preferable than using bsc , I think that as it's a scalable network we are just seeing these "high" fees in these moments just like happened with bsc. But obviously is much better than using ethereum network at least, devs will probably improve these case or I think so
