Is Thetan Arena the BEST blockchain game so far?

What is the best Blockchain game title out right now?

Play to Earn content creators all over the web are reporting massive earnings in Thetan Arena and it has created a lot of buzz!

I heard about wild profits of $100+ per day that could be made in a new free to play blockchain based MOBA(multiplayer online battle arena) called Thetan Arena.

This MOBA genre of gameplay is extremely appealing to many people because it is based on pure player versus player(pvp) skill versus the pay to win aspects in many other game genres.

For me specifically, Thetan Arena was easy to pick up because I have years of experience playing the MOBA genre games like League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, Smite, and more recently Wild Rift & Pokemon Unite.

So I decided to dig deep and become a paid gamer for a week to deliver this analysis to you all.

Free to play AND play to Earn?

The Free to play aspect of the game wasnt going to be worth our time if we really wanted to explore the earning potential that was available to those willing to invest into the NFT heros with a daily play to earn bonus payout potential.

In this space especially it's no secret that people are able to play video games and earn money on the blockchain. The success of blockchain games as a whole is mostly positive but I dont think I am alone in my frustration with the available options. It certainly seems like the trick to a sustainable gaming token economy would be highly dependent upon the playability of the game.

Splinterlands being a prime example with their gameplay being so appealing to many people who enjoy the strategy of card games. Unlike Splinterlands the free to play aspects of Thetan Arena still allow players to accumulate gTHC the ingame $THC equivalent. The rewards are minimal but it is possible to cash out after a player has reached a certain ranking. Bronze 1 is actually pretty high and would be a somewhat difficult task unless you were good at the game.

Thetan Arena has already impressed me with a buff to the lowest tier of their play to earn heros.

I will say that there are definitely arguments for this game being pay to win with the difference in the three different tiers of hero that you can attain.

Personally, I have only played four of the lowest tier heros and I have faced many legendary tier heros in battle with results that always vary based upon the player. However, it is quite clear that the abilities and base stats of the legendary heros are favorable.

Currently there are only two ways to obtain heroes with the first method being from Thetan drop boxes rated at three different rarities: Common, Epic and Legendary. The two lowest tier boxes are purchasable using the ingame earnable THC currency which makes it the most convenient way to purchase heros. Legendary boxes can only be purchased with the games governance token THG. The other method is by purchasing secondhand heros in the Thetan Marketplace.

The difference in price from a common which trades at about $150-300 is pretty massive with legendary heros ranging from $1750-10000. There is also a middle tier that is slightly more profitable to play than the common hero tier. They cost about $180-800 and are arguably better equipped for combat than the common hero set as well.

The game has already announced plans for setting up guilds with scholarships and hero rentals to be released soon which is very exciting as more play to earn options will become available for the free to play heros.

So what sets this game apart from other blockchain blockbusters?

After my tenth match within two hours of picking up the game I had to ask myself this question.

If you enjoy short matches in 4v4 pure moba style pvp with an artistic/quirky set of playable heros on rotating maps for 6 different game types you will quickly come to love your time in the game of Thetan Arena. -rilo

The art and aesthetic are very pleasing and the gameplay and user experience have left many feeling very delighted with the game.

Probably one of my favorite aspects of this game is the cross platform playability from Mobile(Apple, Android) and PC.

The tech specs needed are so low that I can play and have tested on every device that I own XD

So I highly encourage you all to join me in the battlefield on whatever device is clever for you!

This is definitely the best & most playable blockchain game to date.

If that isnt a good enough reason to check it out then I guess I can crunch the numbers and give you all a decent report.

As I have stated before I decided to invest into this game to test the earning potential so understand that I have spent around $600 for 4 common heros.

When I first started playing the game there was a promotional sale for two boxes so I dropped $300 into that and then an additional $300 into some used heros that I wanted.

Remember how there are two ways to buy heros?

This information will come in handy when you consider the price difference between the tokens being used. Right now it is cheaper to buy used heros in the marketplace but the price of $THC has been going down pretty steadily so that could change soon.

$THC payout is based upon a certain amount of games played per day.

Common Heros are given 8 games per day and all heros will receive a base rate of 6 THC per win plus a bonus depending on hero rarity; common is + 3.15 THC bringing the total to 9.15THC per win.

If you win every game on a common hero you can rake in a total of 9.15x8= 73.2THC!

As of today thats around $15 so its not really something to write home about from overseas unless maybe that is a lot of money for 1 hours of "work"(gameplay).

If you win half of your 8 games then you will only make 9.15x4=36.6 + 4 for each loss equals a total of 40 THC.

40 THC = $7.41 right now so even worse prospects for a 50/50 winrate.

Well each hero gets their own daily limit; multiply that by the number of heros then divide by two and you have the daily payout for a 50% Win rate.

2 heros daily total with 100% winrate = 146THC 3 heros daily total with 50% winrate = 120THC 4 heros daily total with 50% winrate = 160THC 4 heros daily total with 100% winrate = 320THC

320 thc = $60 per day(at the lowest the market price has ever been right before the THC token burn I might add).

NFT Heros only have a limited number of battles that are payable and this is based on hero rarity and skin rarity that gives them a playable lifetime of several weeks to several months.

The lowest amount of payable battles playable is 212 so this means the max payout from payable matches for that hero would be 1939.8 THC almost double the Thetan box cost of a common hero.

Common heros have a playable shelf life of 3-5 weeks with zero upgrades and im not sure if upgrades are unlimited but they are paid and only increase the shelf life by 1 day with a minor stat increase which could potentially be abused.

With a 50% win rate on a common hero that payout is 969.9 + 106 = 1075THC so even if you are an average player there is reward enough to continue your game into the next season of payed ranked rewards.

The price of THC is actually still high enough that most people are just selling it to buy used heros on the marketplace for almost half the price so basically a 2 for 1.

Right now is a great time to get in and try it out while there are some free to play rewards available.

Who knows you might just get hooked on the moba play style hahaha

There is also some controversial stuff going on and that is why I only recommend trying this game out for it free to play earning potential at the moment.
