Jason, Jason, Jason - For Once in Your Life...

I'm a little bit in love with Jimmy Rees, and want the world to know. I mean, maybe it's one of those things that only make sense if you live in Australia (in which case, Australians, please go and watch all of his videos, including the one where a guy tries to back a caravan into a park and 'Jason' not so helpfully gives him a hand) but today's one on Bitcoin is relevant to the HIVE audience, so I absolutely have to share.

Many of his little Youtube skits involve a quite drunk character talking to "Jason", making ridiculous decisions to 'clarify' questions designed to puzzle a way out of a problem, such as who on earth decides packaging. What shall we wrap cucumbers in, for example? Cling film, obviously. But not little lebanese cucumbers, 'because they don't need protection, Jason'.

It's one of those things that starts off kinda unfunny, but the more 'packaging' oddities are decided, the funnier it gets.

Australians stuck in various states of lockdown will appreciate his series 'Meanwhile in Australia' where he role plays each of the states as characters. It's got to the point I'm coming home asking hubs: 'Has Jimmy got a video out tonight?'.

Aussie or not, I'm sure many of you Bitcoin lovers will appreciate this one:

As for me, I'm holding onto my Bitcoin watching the price rise and wondering at what point do I cut my losses here. Hubs is convinced the best move is as soon as we get near the amount that's going to finish paying off what is left on the mortgage. We don't have a lot of BTC but thanks to peer pressure from the folk at HIVE and LeoFinance, I'd been buying small amounts for the last two years (not enough - dammit, why didn't I believe you THAT much?) and if it DOES hit 100K, I need to seriously think about whether I should cash out and be happy with that and not greedy.

So we are keeping an eye on the price pretty nervously. If we sell, and it goes back up again, will we regret it? At what point would it be sensible to buy back in again? Should we expect it to drop massively again, in which case, we can always buy more?

What are you doing, Jason?

With Love,
