No, I am not the one who likes to talk about Leofinance all the time. If you want to find writers who do that, go and find them somewhere other than the Leofinance platform 😛

It is obvious that writers who post on this platform like to write about what they think is beneficial for the platform which in turn will benefit them.

Following that tradition, there are a couple of things I want to write in this post.

First, I want to share what I learned a couple of weeks earlier. Someone shared a really nice article from Decrypt on Leofinance. For those who don’t know, Decrypt is a crypto media outlet where you get your news related to all crypto. It is quite popular and there many user who get their news from this site. The site looks funky and has the vibe of a crypto outlet. Here’s a link for your viewing pleasure.

Anyway, I followed the link posted on the leofinance post. When I finished reading the article I was not satisfied with the quality of writing. There was nothing new in that article other than a mere speculation. And, even the speculation was also not based on facts. The title of the article was catchy and that’s how it caught my attention.

The moral of the story is even the mainstream media outlets that are considered by many the source of crypto information does not even have good reporting services.

The quality of the articles shared on leofinance is relatively high level. There are so many talented authors, traders and investors here on Leofinance who can provide detailed insights on what they feel about the crypto market. Rather than wasting time on decrypt and other crypto media outlets, it is always fun to follow your favorite author on this platform. I am really surprised why people do not find leofinance articles when they search for the crypto terms.

I know there are many who are trying to better the Google SEO by writing on topics that are trendy and are being searched on the internet. There are ways it can be improved. Honestly, I think the best way to increase the visibility is to make as many twitter posts we can about the posts that are published on this platform we can. And, it is great that we can tweet directly from the draft page of Leofinance and many other blogging frontends including ecency.

The other feature the platform should look into is to upgrade the categories section.

I know this responsibility lies with users to make the categories as relevant as possible. Right now, there is no way you can rely on the tags users post on their article to find right and relevant posts. With that said, it is impossible to have the professional outlook of our blogging platform compared to others like decrypt.

This platform is decentralized and censorship resistance with rewards for authors. That is definitely a selling point. But this is also a platform that is being run by citizen reporting. Every day, we have 100s of articles written on various topics by citizens all around the world. This is the best the citizen reporting can be. There is a chaos but there is an order in this chaos. The platform should streamline to make that chaos a bit organized. I know the team is working on Leofinace infrastructure and is improving many features with the help of team members. I would like to suggest they look into improving the organization aspect of posts.

If managed, the platform can certainly rival the most popular crypto news platforms out there.
