LeoTiger - It still matters to me

Do you remember those days when there was no defi, no cubfinance and no polyCUB airdrops? I do. Although it seems like a couple of years ago, that's not from the distant past.

During those days, the Leofinance platform and LF Discord were actively filled with the debate around how much LEO should be staked to be a Tiger, Lion, Dragon and Toruk. I know members have moved past that debate as we have many new and meaningful items to share and debate. Many members have moved their LF portfolio to various platforms within the Leofinance network. As egoistic I am and since I am stuck in the past, I am still clinging on to the same old Leofinance categories :P

Also, the formal categories gave me a goal to achieve while moving up the ladder within the Leofinance blogging platform. I started out from the bottom of the pyramid, and I have now staked more than 5000 Leo to my account. With the account categorization structure that exists (unofficially) I am now officially a Leo Tiger.

How does it feel?

It is extremely satisfying. Not because I am now a tiger but due to the consistency I have shown to reach to this goal. It is not easy to remain active in the platform throughout these months and stay motivated towards a goal. I know how tough and time crunching it was during a couple of months last year to stay active in the platform and produce content. I did it because I was passionate about learning. It was also due to the closeness we have in the community among likeminded people who are as diverse as it can gets.

This shows why diversity matters and how healthy debate among members in the platform to achieve a common crypto goal is necessary. Friction is there but that will also help generate ideas and better the product that we use.

Thanks to this involvement, I have learned so much on crypto and tips and tricks on relevant investment ideas.

What next?

To be a lion. For that I need another 10K staked. With the current price action, I am sure I will dabble some of the CUB profits into LEO in the coming months to increase the portfolio.

On a serious note, Leofinance has transformed itself from a tiny blogging platform to this tentacled giant self that ventured out into different direction. It's good that the network is growing but we should remain vigilant of the core community we have in here that is holding the core values. It would be awesome if we can improve and grow the platform that created the community in the first place. I know others share similar ideas and we have a great team working towards that.
