As far as I understand, the reward will stay at 1 cub per block. Five years in crypto is a huge commitment. I think I would assess the situation by the end of this bull cycle or this year to see what remains with Defi. I would definitely stick around with Leo team for the next five years coz I believe the project will be decentralized at some point and will adapt to new conditions. I am still waiting for many other updates that the team is planning on.
