Daily Routines = 400 Hive Posts

Though on a regular basis I am running into some kind of absurd problem in this world, I have found that the best way to find a sense of normalcy is the establishment of strong routines. These routines quickly become habits and if they are something that you enjoy doing, it can be a beautiful relationship.

That is the case with Hive. Since joining over a year ago, I have tried to post at least once a day and sometimes more than that somewhere on the blockchain (there was a 2 week span where I didn't post, but other than that it has been very consistent). The other day, I finally got this notification on one of my posts:

I was really happy to see this because it is easy to forget just how much is building up from incremental inputs. Doing one post a day can be likened to dollar-cost averaging in the sense that you don't really see your stack building up but through consistency it really gets to be a massive holding.

Now, not all of my posts were big hits or even quality at all, but I kept at it consistently and I like where I have ended up at this point. I can't wait to say the same thing at 500, 600... etc. until I'm up there in the thousands of posts. It's the consistency that gets you there at the end of the day. Now don't go and release complete crap for the sake of doing it, but also don't hold back a post because you don't think it is your best work; just keep going.
