Did Elon Musk Just Put Clubhouse, The Chat App On The Map

Last week, Elon Musk interviewed the Robinhood founder who has been under fire as of yet. It was Elon’s first appearance and the room 5000 limit quickly filled up. So thousands of more people just went into a different room to listen in.

What’s different about Clubhouse is anybody can start up a room, which can last from minutes to hours, but if you miss it, you miss it forever because there is no save feature.

Clubhouse is just an audio version of instant messaging. Clubhouse was launched last year, primarily for Silicon Valley venture capitalists and tech industry elites, but I think COVID-19 help the app grow which now has about 2 million users, although it’s still in beta.

Clubhouse was founded by Paul Davison and Rohan Seth, two Bay Area entrepreneurs and alumni of Stanford University. Clubhouse was valued at nearly $100 million after a round of investment led by Andreessen Horowitz.
