Most home offices are additional bedrooms that have been converted into a workspace but for the first time the U.S. largest residential construction company will build a dedicated home office KB house.

KB Home joins a large number of architects and builders who custom space for the work style. Those organizations include HKS, a Los Angeles-based architectural firm, Jensler, a Chicago-based design firm, and Belem, a Moroccan architectural design practice studio in Belem.

The KB Home Office, which will cost around $ 2,000 to $ 3,000 and may vary in size, will include an upgraded electrical package with a built-in workstation and additional outlets and ultra-fast charging stations. Homeowners can also work with KB Home Design Studios to provide sound proofing, custom lighting, half baths, extra windows, a build-in coffee bar or a private patio.
