Splinterlands: Should Splintertalk.io (SPT) move to the Linear curation?.

If you are an old user on this blockchain, then you might be already knowing about the non-linear curve that used to exist in Hive and initial tribes.

In earlier curation system of Hive, when to vote is used to be very crucial for earning the curation income. In earlier system in Hive , when curator vote before 5 minutes , curator will be surrendering the part of curation to others depending upon the minute in which curator voted. After 5 minutes, curator do not surrender the rewards but each upvote after curator's upvote bring more value to curator upvote.

That caused so much auto upvoting in content at 4th-5th minute and to solve this problem and encourage manual curation, Hive finally ditched this system and now all curation upvote generate linear rewards (based on curator upvote value) if it upvoted in first 24 hours of content creation.

Since most of the tribes were modelled on Hive so almost all tribe started with non linear curve (with no 5 minute penalty) where each upvote bring more value to previous upvote. Almost majority of tribe changed their curation scheme to linear after Hive changes ,(some even before it ) but look like SPT tribe is still in old curation system.

I guess this is now can be changed and it will give uniform rewards to the curator and increase manual curation in SPT tribe.

Both account opened same type and same number of chest, still the reward value and loot chest are so different.
