Hello friends, how are you doing today hope you had a great day. I just want to share with you guys a little idea about a topic I just got this morning and I would love you guys to see this topic from my own point of view and also tell me yours if you have any.i was actually listening to my radio and I overheard when a man was asking a question he said is it a bad idea if two couples are having a joint account and still have a personal account, now looking at it from this part he gave out an opportunity for people to call him and give out their idea of what they understood about the topic so a particular man called and said that it is not a bad idea for two couples to have a joint account and still have a personal account because it is depending on what they want to use the money for and before then they must have talked about what they want to use the money for it could be for a particular investment or for their children school fees.now looking at it this way it also depends were the money is coming from and going into the joint account the wife might not buy the idea of using her salary into the joint account.

Benefit of two couples having a joint account The both of them will have to plan and also have a business they want to set up, they can also do an investment which could be business such as real estate, poultry farming and other ventures.

Negative effect of two couples having a joint account There have been several issues associated with joint account opening or holding, most especially when couples are hit by the deadlock of divorce. Issues ranging from what percentages will be divided among the couples who are set for a divorce, and also who contributed the highest and balancing what they had already spent from the joint account when they were still together.the negative effect therefore comes when there is no written agreement or document showing a possible sharing formula if the divorce occurs, it is a view of every marriage to last forever but circumstancial evidence have proven that most marriages that are devoid of tolerance and understanding don't last long following the above and the unseen circumstance for one to advise himself to operate an individual account and support each other when the need arises, each can bring a certain percent of their savings to execute family project instead of having a joint account for the same purpose.
