Prediction Coming To Pass

During the course of 2022, I spoke about what I saw unfolding in 2023. One of the recurring themes was a failure within the traditional banking sector. Currently, we are only in the third month of 2023 and it has already begun to unfold. One of the articles in which I addressed this was, “Bitcoin’s Defining Moment”. The following is an excerpt from the abovementioned article:

As banks around the world continue to fail their clients they simultaneously fuel the adoption of Bitcoin. I see “dire need” as the only factor that can push Bitcoin and the entire Crypto market into a whole new dimension, a dimension where BTC is uniquely defined.

In another article entitled, “Bitcoin Is Waiting For A Very Specific Disaster”, I once again addressed this dynamic. Here is another excerpt in which I address failure within the banking sector and how it has the makings of a perfect storm for Bitcoin’s ascent.

Another significant leg down, combined with a significant failure within the banking sector would be the “perfect storm” to send Bitcoin into a fresh bullish phase. If markets find a floor after significant bloodshed, Bitcoin will once again garner attention, similar to that of 2020. If further calamity strikes that affirms a decentralized, unseizable form of money then I would be extremely bullish. A move like this would most likely lead into the halving, where price action would push even higher.

One of the biggest problems I find when publishing market predictions, analysis, and trade ideas is that readers often misinterpret the process and timeline. They are unable to formulate how the process unfolds, and the timeline in which it takes place. This was evident throughout 2022, as I continued to warn that the bottom was unlikely in, it was rejected by a “lack of understanding”.

Now, one would think that market participants will learn their lesson and adapt. However, this behavior is not avoided by experiencing a negative outcome, but rather by gaining an understanding of how markets operate. Unless such an individual decides to gain insight and understanding, they will once again repeat their mistakes like a dog returning to its vomit.

Process

I mention this because it is important to once again understand the process and timeline. As mentioned in one of the excerpts above, Crypto can also go down with the ship in the immediate short term. However, the recovery will surface with a newly found fuel that is likely to surprise many. Choosing to take part in financial markets and refusing to learn how they operate is rather foolish.

Hodlers are not market participants, they simply acquire Bitcoin and other Crypto for the medium to long term. My content is aimed at market participants, not hodlers. Setting up a DCA schedule requires zero understanding. Sure, you can enhance a DCA strategy with knowledge. However, I have found this to not be the case when it comes to the average hodler.

What is currently taking place is the beginning of the decoupling. Once again, someone who does not understand how these dynamics unfold will say that Sapphire Crypto said that Bitcoin has decoupled from traditional markets. Let me iterate… the beginning. When you plant a seed in the ground, growth begins at germination. Do you see the effects of germination?

No, the effects are only seen once the new plant breaks through the ground and begins its ascent. In a similar way, a decoupling from traditional markets is a process. It is difficult to determine how far that process has already come because much of it is still below “the ground”.

Final Thoughts

All forms of chaos and uncertainty are inherently positive for Bitcoin and Crypto as a whole. The only issue is that people are yet to fully comprehend and embrace this. Furthermore, Bitcoin is an asset that displays properties of antifragility. What this in essence means is that even events that are directly negative for Bitcoin end up being “energy” that Bitcoin harnesses.

Such an asset harnesses negative forces, overpowers them, and then goes on to capture their power. Essentially, power used against the asset now operates in favor of the asset. The battle that takes place for “the power” is where price corrects. Focus is now on the battle. Once the battle has been won, focus is restored, and this time with additional power…
