Here’s a news, on what I have always experienced growing from a child to this present period.
Breakdown.
This is a common lag in countries or region who claims they are undergoing development.
Twenty five years passing on and its still calming developing.
A key factor to proper growth of any region to survive the tech world is electricity.
Nigeria is a wonderful country with poor visionary icons representing the people.
Because;
Getting a stable power supply solves basically 45% of the economy stability with proper analysis. Companies would run right and self employed personnel’s would be able to grow easily with limited loss.
A quick Story. My aunt relocated aboard (Berlin, Germany) and settled down with her husband and two boys.
So, she and her family visited me last year 2021 after the lockdown. We all were having fun telling me experiences about the great German country. A sudden light out-break happened!, and all I discovered was her children shouting and running towards there mum to feel protected.
I was shocked because my aunt told me, they had never had a power down without an announcement back in Berlin.
To them it felt like the world was about to end. Then the power came back on; they were sweaty and tensed with fear of what had just happened. I laughed hard telling them welcome Home😂.
Deep down in me; I had thought of how wonderful it would have being if Nigeria had a great power supply. And this was caused due to poor maintenance and no refinery plants in the country to aid crude oil.
The fact that the country icons(leader) based the country main source of income into crude oil made every other resource render less useful due to poor support and blind attention to great visions. ‘It hurts when NGN currency can not stand on its own without USD twerking itself around it.’
Even when we pay the bills of having the electrical power supply at a very high rate, we still fall back to generators just to keep companies running and even the houses around too.
Paying extra on gasoline to make things running. Even those, who uses solar easily gets the flat batteries after two to three runs by the production machine making the company loss almost a thousand dollars making the power come on to maintain productions.
Then trying to meet up the market need on there consumers to regain all that was lost. This is crazy permit me please.
Living has it comes. Skillful people I have known for years who gave up now renders assistance to developing companies and do it for the survival. There are less of passion and more of survival within this region and it makes me wonder when people would get the freedom to do what they love and get to survive from it.
Proper power supply would go a long way in this part of the world and even Tesla’s and droids can be enabled in the country making it less carbonated and saving the Ozone layers (with reduced smoky industries).
Conclusion. Electricity is a base of development in every country. Waking up to no noise of artificial power supplies(generators) and also having hybrid vehicles power by electricity is the future I want. This makes life pleasing to live in and also aiding the use of proper medical machineries.
