This is not a clickbait title. Please read and then tell me if you agree with me or not. I am not an expert in finance nor a post-graduate in management. I am writing purely from my experience.

Foods

We all like to eat. Delicious looking food that is presented in a lovely manner and the smells wafting from a restaurant make you forget the price of the food and the unhealthy stuff that goes in.

Why not make your own dish for a change?

There are so many videos online that teach you how to cook in a simple manner with the available ingredients in your house.
You can learn to make any dish from any country you like and also learn to bake too.

Making your own spice mixes

You can buy black pepper, red chilies, cinnamon, cumin, fennel seed, and other such spices and dry fry it and powder. These can be stored in airtight containers and used when you need them. Make sure you do not powder too much of it as it may go bad after some months.

It is way cheaper and you are sure of what goes into it, of course.

Normal greens, macro greens

If you like to poke around in your backyard, then planting a few 'greens' is not such a bad idea after all. If you live in an apartment, you can still grow your greens. There are shops which sell equipment and tools meant for it.

This way, you can pick your own leaves for that delicious salad.

baking your cake was never easier. There are eggless versions too. Also, you can be sure that there are no 'unwanted fats' added to it. Biscuits/cookies are fun to make too or for that matter dinner rolls.

The amount of money you will save in a week by cooking for yourself instead of eating out or ordering food can make a huge difference in your budget when you calculate it.

Just write down the figures and you will know what I mean.

Now, do you agree with me?
