The absorbing cube - Splinterlands battle theme

There are lots of new players joining Splinterlands even as I now write. It is exciting to be a part of all this, especially now when the word about the game that deserves to be known all over the world is spreading like wildfire and soon, we will see even the child from some country asking his/her dad for Splinterlands merchandise and top players might be leased to play for clubs. It is not impossible.

New players need to take time and study the battles and the Splinterlands weekly theme posts will help a lot. I have written a lot of posts from the very beginning and the votes did help a lot because I used the Hive to buy monsters and level up, of course. Looking back, maybe I can try to collect such posts and include it too.

This week's theme is the Scavenger. My favorite one is the cube, of course.

I did not use this monster very much until one day, a veteran player whose name I forget mentioned that the cube is very underrated. I tried using it and it helped me win many a game and I still use it. The leveled monster is even more of a beast.

So, here goes.

You can see that at the start of the battle, the life of the cube is 13. The rule was broken arrows and so, there would be more magic and as predicted, the magic monsters were lashing at each other and each time, the cube scavenged. That meant more life too. In this battle, we see the other monsters such as the Kralus and Dragon holding up but in some, where only, the cube is left, it holds up and finally wins the game because the enemy undergoes fatigue and finally loses.

Observe the life of the cube which has increased as the battle draws to a close.

Impressive, isn't it?

There are scavengers in other splinters too. My other favorites are the Screeching Vulture, Ant Miner, Dark Ha'on among which I use the vulture also, a lot.
