Another week gone by and we are that much closer to the launch of the new UI that turns leofinance into essentially crypto twitter.

New UI Update

@khaleelkazi kicked off the show with an update on the UI. The functionality of the short form threads has been the main focus, but long form is not going by the wayside so all the checks and functions on that are now being tested.

Also, there is some cool features, like when you hover over someone's username you will see additional info, such as follow button or other posts they have.

The new UI is in closed alpha and open alpha is coming soon. Open alpha won't last long as it is more so done for stress testing so once the traffic floods in hard the devs will have the data they need.

Leo Swag

The cat was repping leofinance with another t-shirt while Khal got some ribbing from me for wearing a plain hoodie with no leofinance branding. COME ON MAN! You gotta rep your brand 24/7 365.

After the ribbing concluded we starting throwing out fun tag lines to put on leofinance swag.

Leofinance with a QR code beneath and then the saying "It gets the people going" beneath the QR is the newest idea I want to put on a t-shirt.

There were some other entertaining ones shared by other lions in the discord chat.

Threads threads threads

The use activity on threads continues to increase and I have joined in the fun threading several times a week after not doing it at all a few weeks ago.

I will say, the chatter is fun and more entertaining than the long form posts. It definitely serves a different purpose and is more an interactive convo as opposed to information attainment.

All the other topics

We got into things like the universal income debate and robots taking over 80% of jobs in the next 20-30 years and this Renters Bill of Rights that is currently in congress amongst other random topics.

In the meantime, Bitcoin is floating around 23K still just consolidating.

Come on bitcoin bulls, come back and play.
