These weeks fly by, but each time there is plenty to catch up on in the leo ecosystem with updates to one off the apps, platforms or UIs always happening as growth continues to move at a frenzied pace.

CUB is Burning!

With the Hive based liquidity bridges active with pools like bHIVE-Cub and bHBD-Cub there has been a nice buyback and burn rolling.

The first monthly report for CUB will be end of this month, but if my memory serves me correct more than 200K cub will be burned this month based on the current pace.

Let's keep adding liquidity to the pools and watch the burn grow!

Additionally, governance on CUB is in the SOON stage so ideally we will be seeing that in the very near future.

Personally, I look forward to making my first governance vote on cub.

Leo Threads

After the first week of Leo Threads many updates were pushed to improve the user experience. Threads have been active and I believe one of the desired updates on the board is to have threads show on our individual pages.

Automation is the word of the day

There were questions about many items, such as the Geyser payout and the delays it has had in recent months. The good news is there is work being done to completely automate so no one has to press any buttons to make things happen.

This is the general theme for most functions and will continue to happen over time from what I saw.

Crypto Chat and LeoFest

Per the usual we chatted about crypto, mainly ethereum and the coming merge. Most of us don't think the merge will impact crypto prices much. It will be interesting to see if it impacts activity on the ethereum blockchain though.

The convo quickly turned to HIVE Fest, which is coming up next month. That led to people asking WEN LeoFest.

Everyone threw in ideas for a location and Cancun looked to become an early favorite. We shall see if leofest becomes a thing...maybe 2023 is my guess!

Until then, see you on the interwebs.
