Splinterlands - A nice start and best surprise ever in my journey of SPL!

Introduction

It was such a surprise for my as an ending of the season in old reward system! Yup, everyone is excited with the whole new start on new season since we have lots of chests to grab and collect some new cards. And it finally comes to the best timing without pump rental price. As a result, I believe everyone could afford those rental to finish the 'daily focus' thing. Let's move on.

Surprise from one of my alts

I have been trying to maxmize my income while playing a few accounts to farm the chests and the result was just so so and meh. However, this could be the shining time during the 'career' of one of my alts. It was a Silver 3 account that provides me 12 chest every season.

My EOS reward chests

After seeing the GFL in my first flip, I nearly scream out of my heart. Since it is my first time to pull a GFL in chests. As I have indicated and shared in my previous posts, I have pull GF common/rare/epic cards so far. So that my next target would be the GFL in the future. Surprisingly, I just finished my milestone in the whole new start of new rank reward system. Besides that, it just a nice start for me and I will keep grinding under the new rules of daily focus.

Remarks

The JARED SCAR is the second monster with Bloodlust ability that you can play outside the brawl. Within the trend and popularity of the Bloodlust ability, I believe that more and more monsters with Bloodlust will be released in the coming future. Actually the Bloodlust is a very sick and broken ability that will turn your monster into a boss or a beast since your stats will be stacked up once you kill the enemy monsters.

GRUM FLAMEBLADE is the first monster with Bloodlust outside the scope of brawls. Actually it is a good one to counter magic monsters or monsters that above 10 mana. However, it become useless or a waste when it hits the shield or enemy. In other words, the shield could be the biggest counter on the Bloodlust ability since it could waste excess damage.


PIERCING: If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health

Based on the ability of the JARED SCAR, the PIERCING ability could be the perfect match with the Bloodlust ability since it helps JARED SCAR to clear the map faster to stack the stats up.

It was one of my brawl with pure gold foil cards yesterday, and I was excited to give it a try. Overall, the performance of JARED SCAR was good without the PIERCING ability mentioned above due to the limitation of league in my brawl assigned. Also, I couldn't wait to level it up and try my strategy with PIERCING in the future. I believe it will definitely be a cherry on the top in battles.

Update on reward card minting

If you are keep tracking my post, I have shared way more concepts and theories on the importance of reward card printing process which affects not only the inflation level, but also the incentive of doing daily quests.

To be clear, the new version of CL rewards have the same total BCX with the existing reward cards which is 8M (55442/0.69%). And we just nearly hit the 60% of the old version.
