Sup folks, it is time for weekly challenge. In my last blog, I have mentioned that the update of new reward system just made me a little bit sick and uncomfortable since the key became grinding all days in order to get the daily chests and seasonal chests. However, I changed my mind and opinion on it since we are always expected to explore something new and get into the unknown. After my test and grind throughout the week, I found that my earning is way more than I got before the reward, especially the DEC multiplier factor that could possibly happened while you are opening your chests. So, in other words, the main source of income comes from the value of DEC you got from the chests instead the cards.

Maybe I made it a little bit far from the topic of today, and, I would like to share an epic battle about GARGOYA SCRAPPER, don't forget to have fun watching the battle and enjoy the new giveaway!!

The Battle Rules

18 Mana Cost SUPER SNEAK: All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. EQUALIZER: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

My Team

It is a mid level mana game with EQUALIZER which is one of my all time fav rule-set. As a result, I will try to ultilize the mana cost by placing lots of low mana monster to be the tank plus some combination of DPS monster with decent damage. Therefore, the monsters with 1/2 mana cost would be the most part of my team.

The Lineup

Summoner

To be honest, it is my first time to rent THE PEAKRIDER to do my daily focus since it is cheapest in the market in terms of max level life summoner. The CL one is already been squeezed by bot farms and price is pumped. Back to where we were, the +3 shields is the highlight of THE PEAKRIDER since it can immute the ability of the WIZARD OF EASTWOOD which is -2 shields, and we still have 1 shield left.

Front Row

The GARGOYA SCRAPPER only cost 1 mana for the maxed stats which has 2 attack and void ability to counter magic monster if there are any. With the EQUALIZER rule-set, getting way more HP with only 1 mana is definitely a wise choice.

Second

The SILVERSHIELD BARD also shares the same use with my GARGOYA SCRAPPER which only cost 1 mana too. Although it only has 1 melee attack, costing 1 mana for extra HP is always not bad. Therefore, I put it at the second place to be the sub-tank and receive damage.

Third

Here comes the main dish - the STITCH LEECH which has sneak and life leech ability to steal HP from enemies. Theoretically, monster with life leech should be put at latter place such as 5th or 4th since the longer it stands, the more hp it has. However, based on the rule-set, most monster of fire/water/life are with sneak ability so that I just put it at the middle place to avoid death early.

Fourth

To be honest, the ARMORSMITH in Life line-up is such a cancer. It makes the team unbeatable against range/melee monsters. Actually I really hate it when it becomes my enemy. It works well with the combination of SHIELDBEARER/ CRYSTALSMITH/ SCAVO HIRELING, since they are able to generate infinity shield and health in the battle. BUT, when you can't beat them join them! Easy wins.

Fifth

The CELESTIAL HARPY is a good 2 cost CL version mini assassin which is super flexible into any place as long as you have some extra mana left. As a result, I put my CELESTIAL HARPY into the line-up.

Last

The CRYSTAL JAGUAR is purposely placed at the last place since I expect my enemy would use multiple monster with sneak ability in the line-up. As a result, the Thorns and Retaliate ability is perfect counter for sneak monster to deal extra damage and make them die if they attack my CRYSTAL JAGUAR.

Battle Result

This one was an easy one since my enemy tried to play the cancer trick of cube and heal combination and the only DPS is bandit. In this case, he did not have enough damage to clean the battle so that he lost.

The result shows that my strategy and idea worked well under my expectation. The sense of picking right monster in your team becomes more important now since every battle you fight will now count into your daily chest count and seasonal rewards. So please be aware of your win rate and try to watch more battles to learn some new tricks.

Overall, nearly half older version were printed in the past half years. So, let's keep it up and grab the rest to keep those value.
