Yes yes it's a thing! It happened last month and I missed it!!! Not that I would have won a delegation or anything... my stack of Leo wasn't in any position to stake anyways. I wasn't ready!
Now I am though. I bought some Leo a couple weeks ago with some Hive I had sitting liquid not doing anything. Yes I know I have now had a bunch of Leo sitting there, not bringing in any positive yield... but I wanted to wait and see if I could get in on the next #lpud.

FOMO and What baskets to put your eggs in???
That's where things get a little fuzzy for me. There are so many projects and awesome communities across the Hive ecosystem, it's hard to pick just a couple to focus on. Leo Finance has been my go to community for learning about DeFi and the outside world of crypto in general.
This community has been creating a lot of good projects that I can follow, so I've enjoyed the journey so far!

You can also go straight to this Hive front-end for Leo, to have the glossary in a "link" format for each term so that you can link back to it on your articles and posts... it'll help the community get more recognition on Google and all that!!!
As for putting some eggs in the Leo Finance basket, there are a few options. The first and easiest one is to acquire some Leo, either by posting in the community or going to your exchange of choice and buying some coin there. Once you have Leo, simply click on power-up, and follow the instructions.
That's what I'm going to do on the 15th of July!!!!
While FOMO is a real thing it makes people decide on things a little too quickly, it can also make you take part in many different projects you believe in, but how can you keep track of them all? Because they're not all going to thrive, so at some point, you need to make the right decision about pulling out before it's too late.
That's why I'm really only sticking to Hive related things, bitcoin, the few altcoins I already had, and of course DeFi from my favorite team once again... LeoFinance with the best in Yield Optimizing!
